I bought my "David Sunflower Seeds", at the Dollar Store. I paid one dollar for the seeds. I buy them quite often.When I opened the bag I could smell how fresh these seeds were. A person who eats sunflower seeds often can really tell a fresh bag from old seeds. This bag is 5.25 ounces.
I really like that "David Sunflower Seeds", prints clearly on the back of the bag the date the seeds are best used by. I can't say the same for the other brands.It is usually to small to read,or the ink is smeared.
David Sunflower Seeds, are a healthy snack. They are an excellent source of vitamin E (an antioxidant). They are a natural source of fiber,zinc,and folic acid. There are 9 grams of protein per serving. David Sunflower Seeds, are naturally Cholesterol free.
I have been a fan of sunflower seeds since I quite smoking years ago. I started off with "David Sunflower Seeds",eating them at night when I watched TV. It keeps my hands busy and I didn't gain a lot of weight because these are a healthy snack.The bag is red, blue and white with a yellow sunflower,with a clear spot on the paper showing the sunflower seeds. This way the buyer can actually see what the seeds look like. The seeds look black and white,from the clear part of the cellophane type bag. The seeds are little less than a 1/2 inch long and about 1/4 inch wide.

Now to the good part,eating the sunflower seeds. David Sunflower Seeds, are fun to eat. Crack the shell with your teeth. Experienced people like me,will put a handful of seeds in their mouth and store them in one cheek. Then I transfer a seed on the other side with my tongue. Then I crack it,eat the seed and spit the shell. It keeps me busy while I watch my movie,and tricks my mind in to thinking I am eating some thing bad and unhealthy. They taste delicious,they are salted just right. The shell is very thin so I don't hurt my teeth at all.
The ingredients in "David Sunflower Seeds", are sunflower seeds and salt. The seeds are roasted perfectly. I would recommend to everyone except small toddlers or infants in the event they were to choke.
